The Fall Meeting was held at 3 PM on Saturday, October 20th in the Chanin Center at Hunter College.

Lowell Edmunds, Profesor Emeritus, Rutgers University, Department of Classics, gave  a lecture entitled:

Oedipus in Paris:   Max Ernst's "Oedipus Rex"

The Spring 2008 Meeting will be held on Saturday  May 3rd at 3:30 PM,  at the Hewitt School, 45 East 75th Street, New York City, New York.


Professor Anton Powell of Swansea University in Wales will give  a lecture:

Virgil the Partisan:
Aeneas and the Theft of Pietas.

 Winners of our Spring Contests  and Scholarship competitions will also be announced at this time. A small reception will follow the lecture. All are invited.
